1. Sunshine Meadows Industrial Farm

Sunshine Meadows is ideal for newer players looking to ease into workshop control. It’s relatively small, easy to defend, and generates valuable resources like food and fertilizer. While these aren’t direct sources of caps, selling the produce to vendors adds up quickly. The central location means you're less likely to get challenged by other players, making it great for long-term passive farming.

When I first started farming for Cheap Fallout 76 Caps, this was my go-to spot. I could log in, defend a quick event, collect the produce, and walk away with enough to feel productive — without needing to trek across the map.

2. Poseidon Energy Plant Yard

This workshop is a goldmine for anyone looking to generate power — and profit. When operational, Poseidon can provide up to 400 units of power, which can be used to power your CAMP, but more importantly, the surplus can help support Fusion Core production if you’ve unlocked the schematics.

During one of my longer weekend sessions, I held Poseidon for nearly five hours while running other events nearby. I walked away with dozens of Fusion Cores that sold well to vendors and players alike, fueling a significant bump in my Fallout 76 Caps income.

3. Abandoned Bog Town

Bog Town is packed with high-value junk deposits, including aluminum, lead, and concrete — all of which are essential for crafting and trade. While it’s located in a higher-level area, the rewards outweigh the risks. The scrap you generate here is always in demand, and excess materials can be traded or sold for caps.

My personal tip: set up heavy turrets. This workshop tends to draw attention from both Scorched and other players, but when secured properly, it’s one of the most efficient places for passive profit.

4. Charleston Landfill

Not the most glamorous workshop, but one of the most underrated. The Landfill offers junk and concrete, and more importantly, it often goes uncontested. If you're trying to passively farm resources while focusing on events or missions elsewhere, this workshop won’t distract you too often.

I’ve used Charleston Landfill as my secondary workshop many times. I’ll claim it, drop a few budget turrets, and then forget about it for an hour while I grind elsewhere. When I return, I’ve got enough junk to sell or craft with — both of which feed my Cheap Fallout 76 Caps strategy.

5. Grafton Steel Yard

Steel is always in demand, and Grafton Steel Yard is an excellent place to passively generate it. This workshop includes acid as well, another valuable resource for making gunpowder and crafting ammo — high-value items in any trading scenario.

One of my best weeks in Fallout 76 came when I held Grafton almost daily. Combined with regular visits to vendors and player camps, I turned excess steel and acid into ammo, which I then sold for a tidy profit, boosting my Fallout 76 Caps stash noticeably without heavy grinding.

Holding and defending workshops takes some effort upfront, but with the right setup, they become semi-passive sources of valuable goods and caps. For players who want to avoid the grind of farming events or flipping legendary items, these workshops are a low-maintenance way to stay flush with currency.
